About Us

Ms. Rosa Rodriguez was born and raised in Harlem by immigrants working parents. Her passion comes from the first hand experience seeing how much work and devotion it takes to provide quality care for children. At a young age Ms. Rosa Rodriguez witness the complexity her parents endure to keep up with the parenting role, the well being of their youngest children including reaching satisfactory age accordingly milestones all the while maintaining a full time job . Growing up in this environment was definitely a major influence in their career path. Ms. Rosa Rodriguez attended college, acquired the necessary credentials and academic knowledge in special education and human services to support a unified vision to help all children including those with milestones setbacks, developmental delays and or behavioral issues. In addition by nurturing, caring, & educating children through passive care and therapeutic play incorporating sensory, physical, fine & gross motor skills, pronunciation/ speech and social skills with small group and partnering up activities for social development, these educators realized it was substantially benefiting for a healthy upbringing and successful academic development! Nonetheless describing our life purpose and professional goal. She executed her vision by combining ideas together with her own parenting skills from raising her own children plus her educational knowledge gave the, enough content to formulate her own creation of quality child care services.

Big Thinker Little Hands is a place designated for kids to love to learn while providing parents and family the satisfaction of entrusted care and peace of mind simultaneously contributing and giving back to our community in a positive way.

Credentials, Training Certifications:

Master’s in Special Education & General Education, NYS Licensed ABA, Early Intervention, CPR, AED, and NYS Licensed and Monitor by the Office of Children & Family Services.

Facility

Safety Certifications:

Basic First Aid Certified for Adult, Children & infants. Facility is equipped with fire extinguishers up to NYS standards. Drills for emergency preparation are performed regularly and Instructors are Certified Mandated Reporters.
